Aurizon Community Giving Fund

The Community Giving Fund was established to provide support to communities in the areas of Health and Wellbeing, Community Safety, Environment and Education. Non-profit organisations that hold an approved deductible gift recipient (DGR) status charity (Item 1) from the Australian Tax Office are eligible to apply. Cash grants are only available for projects that affect the immediate areas in which Aurizon operates (includes Geraldton). NACC COASTAL QUICK STEP GRANTS 2017-18

Grants up to $2,000 for the protection and restoration of the Northern Agricultural Region (NAR) coast. Funding up to $2,000 per project is available for on-ground coastal management projects that comply with the grant criteria. Grants of $2,000 to $10,000 are available through the NACC’s Coastal Community Grant Program. ABRS National Taxonomy Research Grant Programme

The National Taxonomy Research Grant Programme (NTRGP) focuses on support for training and/or recruitment of taxonomists, especially for research on critical taxonomic groups. The ABRS offers $5,000 to $10,000 Honours Scholarships, Masters Scholarships and Research Training Program Scholarship Top-Ups under the Capacity-Building Grants stream of the Programme. National Taxonomy Research Grant Programme (NTRGP) – Research Grants

The Research Grants stream provides support to Postdoctoral Fellows and established career researchers to undertake research relevant to the taxonomy and systematics of the Australian biota. Research and Postdoctoral Fellowship grants are available. Research grants of $10,000 to $90,000 are available and all have a co-funding requirement. All research grants awarded in the 2018–2019 Research Grants round are of three years duration. Applications close 2 November 2017.

NAB Sustainable Regions Grants

NAB's Sustainable Regions Grants offer between $100,000 to $1,000,000 (over a maximum of three years) to support environmental well-being. NACC Biodiversity Community Grants Round 3

Round Three of NACC’s Biodiversity Community Grants are now open. Project applications must be received by 5pm Friday 27 October 2017 WST. The grants provide resources to assist land managers and community groups to undertake on-ground land management and adaptation activities, and enhance community skills and knowledge in rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of the region’s flora and fauna.
